New accessories update

It's been quite a while since I blogged last time.
My family and I had great summer trip to B.C.
It was a long car ride and we got totally exhausted but we had so much fun there.
We enjoyed swimming, attended to my husband's cousin's wedding, sitting beside the pool and drinking beer.
And also, we've got to meet most of my husband's relatives.

Now we came back and kind of busy preparing for my kids' school.
I went to the fabric store and got some fabrics for this fall and winter, so I am so excited just to think about what to make next. I have too many ideas and no time for myself so I can't wait to my kids to go back to school :P
I still have to take care of my baby but shouldn't be bad..much better than 3!

Anyway, I am in rush of making accessories because I am having Japanese food party and my friends want to look at my crafts too.
My clay roses are getting popular these days and I am still obsessed with miniature sweets (food), so I made more of those kinds.
And maybe I should start making stuff only for my Etsy shop too, so that I don't have to take time to delete stuff that sold here (not through the internet).
Hmm...

By the way, here are some pictures of my recent work.
I will report how the Okonomiyaki party went on my next blog :)
See you soon my friends!

SaSa at Leduc's Main Street Festival

Last Saturday, I was vending at Leduc's Main Street Festival.
Thank you for all the people who came and take a look at my store.

Luckily, it was sunny and warm enough to vend outside.
The wind got really strong so I had to rearrange my store to put everything low.

Too bad I forgot to take a picture of myself as I was wearing Yukata ( Japanese Kimono style summer clothes).
Oh well, here are some pictures of new stuff I made.
It's got an alligator clip and a safety pin on the back so you can put it anywhere you like.
I used Japanese fabric puffy balls as buds of the black fabric rose.
You should see this in real life, they are really pretty :)

Monkey Pants and Kids' bags

Hi, I am just in time :)
I added new items for tomorrow's festival.
Today is kind of stormy outside so pictures are not as good but here are the new monkey pants and kids' bags.

As for the kids' bags, I think adults can use them like hang from your neck and put your cell or camera.
These are good size for that:)
I almost kept the pink zebra one for myself. :P

Aaand, monkey pants, I made a little bit wider version this time as some customers wanted wider pants for bigger babies.
Wider version monkeys have slightly different shaped bum patches and are little bit wider than my ordinal monkeys and they are boots cut (not the half pants).
I really like both shapes. One is boots cut and wider, and another one is slim fit like leggings.

See you tomorrow at the Leduc's main street festival!

You can also order, request, hold (depends) my products and I will bring them to events I participate. Please email me from the form right side of this article :)

Next Saturday, I will be at Leduc's Main Street Festival !

Hi, the last Handmade Mafia was very nice.
I was vending by myself (usually I share my table with my friend) as my friend could not make it.
Lots of people came by and I sold a lot of monkey pants! Oh, I was so happy.
Also my clay accessories are becoming popular.

So this week, I have been working on making new stock.
Monkey pants, of course, clay roses, Jinbei, and I am going to make more kids' bags.
I started new things too. Wire crocheting. I am so in love with semi precious gems (especially Chalcedony! They are so pretty) even though I haven't bought any of those :((
But I will for sure get some gems and nice wires and tools after the next event ( depends on how well I do).

I made 8 pairs of Monkey Pants this week so far as my big batch of Japanese fabrics were arrived.
Getting new fabrics are always exciting!
I will post the pictures by this Friday (if I have time..), so watch out for that :)

Here are some of my new accessories!
Enjoy!
If you would like to order or reserve or request, please email me from the mail form on the right side of this article.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you about next event!

Handmade Mafia July is coming up this Saturday

Hi, it's been kind of long time since I updated this blog.
The last event, The Works festival was fun except we ended up sitting in our tent for 2 hours in the awful thunder storm.
But other than that, I and my friend had a wonderful time.
There weren't very many people like I expected, but I got to meet lots of great customers.
Thank you so much for coming to see my store.

On the other hand, the next event is coming up.
